Dr. Eduard Docu
Eduard Docu, M.D., Dr. Docu completed medical school in Bucharest, Romania. He then completed his residency training in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Docu has been practicing medicine in Savannah, Georgia since 2004 and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Before opening his private practice in 2010, he worked as a physician at Winn Army Hospital and St. Joseph’s/Candler Physician group. He is currently servicing as medical director of PruittHealth.
Although not in an “active duty” status Dr. Docu remains involved in the U.S. Air Force as a Ready Reserve Officer with holding the rank of Captain.
Family Medicine Certification
Certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) is a credential beyond state licensure that displays a family physician’s commitment to providing the highest quality care to their patients through lifelong learning and professional development efforts. Physicians certified by ABFM must meet requirements set forth by both the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Medical Specialties, including successfully completing family medicine residency training, displaying knowledge of the breadth of family medicine through examination, and lifelong learning through Continuing Medical Education and self-assessment.
